Corenso announces a price increase of 6-8% for coreboard and cores in Europe
Strong demand for coreboard and cores has created positive pricing momentum in most major European markets in recent months. Despite this, we have not yet fully recovered the impact of the significant increases that occurred in raw material, freight and other input costs during the second half of 2017. Costs have continued to rise in 2018 and unfortunately, further price increases are now necessary. We expect the average level of increase will be 6-8%, although this will be determined on a product- and market-specific basis. The price increase will be effective for all shipments starting 1st of March.
