Corenso UK moves into a new plant in 2018 - Further improved quality & efficiency & volume growth
Corenso UK is delighted to announce its relocation to Hindley Green in Wigan, where a completely refurbished building offering a much improved layout awaits. The new state-of the-art factory, which is situated only a few miles from the current location, is to be fully operational by mid-summer 2018. The relocation and related investment show Corenso´s commitment towards the UK and Irish markets, where we serve our customers in the paper, board, flexible packaging and textile segments.
New greenfield core plant strengthens product & service offering in greater Shanghai and East China
Corenso is proud to announce the establishment of a new core-converting facility in Suzhou in Jiangsu province to serve and grow with its existing and new customers mainly in the rapidly expanding film and textile industries. At the new facility Corenso will produce the highest quality seamless and textile cores. The new operations take place in new, custom-made facility to enable efficient production of high quality cores.
A price increase of 8% for uncoated recycled paperboard and cores and tubes in Europe
Corenso today announces a price increase of 8% for all grades of uncoated recycled paperboard and for cores and tubes in Europe. The new prices will apply to shipments made after the 15th of August 2017.
Corenso completes acquisition of Corpak in North America
Corenso today announces that it has completed the acquisition of the business and assets of Corpak Inc. (“Corpak”), a manufacturer of cores and tubes located in Richmond, Virginia, and will make a considerable investment in expansion and modernisation of the Richmond facility. The acquisition further expands the geographical reach of Corenso’s core converting operations in North America allowing us to more effectively service existing customers and target new markets in the South-East region of the United States.
